I think it dries the hair faster too. **Q: How do I clean this brushes and if I do, would the benefits be strip away?** A: You can use a brush cleaner to clean the brush and no the benefits would not strip away by cleaning the brush. **Q: Is the handle truly rubber latex or like silicone?** A: I'm not sure where you are getting the information that the handle is rubber latex. And I don't know really what you mean by "like silicone".... The handle is simply comfortable and as described, a soft grip. If you are on the market looking for a new round brush in medium size for medium length hair, this one is absolutely perfect! Didn't know I would say that about a brush haha Yes, I do highly recommend. The handle here is very comfortable, I'm often concerned the hair can get caught while styling in the handle seam, that happened before with many other brushes, including some pricy ones. This one does not have this problem. The handle does not slip out of hands, easy to grip when styling. So the design is very well thought through. Medium length of the bristles is good for finer hair. Great value.
