I was advised to get one the ActiveWire wires as the usb power cable boosts the signal. The cable is great and I've had no issues. I would highly recommend but be warned that despite the the note in the description..."PLEASE NOTE, we have recently upgraded our ActiveWire cables, the equalisation chipset is now encased within the headshell, so will not be present as a mid-wire unit"... the 8m cable I received presented with a mid-wire unit.
