Follow Up to original review: So the seller reached out and asked questions. I answered all the questions and then he proceeded to ignore me. The unit does not work as advertised and I am very disappointed with the lack of service on the sellers part. Reducing to one star! Don't buy from this seller!Original Review:The dimmer finally arrived today and I immediately got to installing it. My lights are halogen, so it should work, but only has a low and high setting. My old dimmer had 3 settings and worked fine prior to burning out. Not real happy for the price seeing as it doesn't work as stated, but couldn't leave my bar area disassembled during the holidays while waiting on a replacement. Maybe they will ship me a replacement.

This part was not an exact replacement for the one in my entertainment center, but it worked just fine. Three levels of light plus off with a touch. Problem is it worked for about a month with only 3-5 uses (I kept forgetting I replaced it). I had a static shock and, poof, don't work any more.Sent a message to Amazon who sent me an email saying they sent it to the source, iLumina Lighting Inc. I should hear from them. Nothing yet, so I'm writing this. I gave the item high stars for the categories listed, but one star overall because it quit. Might be a "no star" if the source doesn't man up.

If your kitchen or cabinets are on separate walls like mine are, you will need to purchase additional power block and dimmer switches. The package bought in brick and mortar store contains six light pucks and only one power block and dimmer and the store does not sell additional accessories. This product is great and my new backsplash is wonderful with the addition of under cabinet lighting. These have three dim positions and are touch activated. Very easy to use

I bought two of these. I can only review for one because I haven’t even had a chance to open the other one yet. I can say, however, that the port where you insert the small clip that connects to the lights is very loose on the one I opened. So if it gets moved in anyway the lights will go off. Unfortunate. I was really hoping this would work considering I can’t seem to find it by itself anywhere else without having to purchase the entire new set of lights.

This is the second 3-level touch dimmer I have purchased. The first went into a kitchen remodel and controlled the led "puck" lights above the kitchen sink.This second unit I purchased is used to control two smaller desk lamps in my home office.This unit turns an ordinary bulb A(non 3 level) into a low-mid-high-off level bulb.Just plug it in, plug the lamps/lights into the strip and off you go.The kitchen unit has worked without failure for over 10 years.

I looked for an item that would be used to dim and turn off the lights in a late display cabinet like the one I had been using for 20 years. I looked in many lighting stores....and couldn’t find one. Finally I found it on Amazon! Excellent! Touch the dimming button gives three levels of light and the fourth touch is OFF!

I replaced the power supply and switch with this one and it works - mostly. Its very sensitive and any movement of the power supply causes the switch to toggle. Sometimes even when no one was even clise to it. The price is also high. The only reason I had to get a replacement was that the lights were already installed in a TV cabinet and it was a tricky install. So I thought I am saving my hardwork tgat was already done. 3 stars due to issues staying unchanged and price.

I like that these lights are powered from the electric lines already available. No batteries to wear down and replace every 20 minutes! They look good and are easy to install and operate.
