The 2-gallon bucket is a generous size and should last me quite a while, even with regular use. The flakes dissolve easily in warm water and don’t have any overpowering scent—just that clean, natural soap smell. I’ve been using them to make homemade laundry detergent and all-purpose cleaner for around the farm, and they’ve worked great. My clothes come out fresh and clean, even after getting dirtied up in the goat shed or chicken coop. I also love that these are pure and free from unnecessary additives. The resealable bucket is sturdy and easy to store, which is another plus for anyone doing bulk DIY cleaning. I made my laundry detergent using 2 cups of this soap flakes, a cup of borax and a cup of Washing Soda, as well as 10 drops of fragrance, and it'd been solid. I've done about 4 loads of laundry, and what I wanted to make sure of, was that it dissolved nicely into the wash. I wash all my clothes with hot water, I will say that. So I cant vouch for how it runs on a cold cycle. I also tested out just the soap with some water, to see if it gets suds. It does! I will be buying this again! ## Features - Soap Flakes is a household ingredient or material - No added fillers, no binders, and nothing beyond what the label states - Suited for everyday household use, where Soap Flakes works well in cleaning, maintenance, and general-purpose applications around the home - Packaged in a resealable container for convenient access - Earthborn Elements — done simply, consistent quality since 2017 ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0C2QRJGK1 | | Best Sellers Rank | #63,761 in Health & Household ( See Top 100 in Health & Household ) #324 in Liquid Laundry Detergent | | Brand | Earthborn Elements | | Brand Name | Earthborn Elements | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 683 Reviews | | Formulation Type | Concentrated | | Item Dimensions | 12.24 x 12.24 x 14.5 inches | | Item Form | Flake | | Liquid Volume | 5 gallons | | Manufacturer | Earthborn Elements | | Material Feature | Natural | | Material Features | Natural | | Material Type Free | Unscented | | Number of Items | 1 | | Package Size Name | 5 Gallon Bucket | | Product Benefits | Natural, Additive-Free, Versatile Cleaning | | Scent | Unscented | | Skin Type | All | | Specific Uses For Product | Fragrance Free | | UPC | 195507025554 | | Unit Count | 336 Ounce | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Earthborn Elements - **Item Form:** Flake - **Material Type Free:** Unscented - **Scent:** Unscented - **Unit Count:** 336 Ounce ## Images ![Earthborn Elements, Soap Flakes, 21 Lb - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61luKcIDcOL.jpg) ![Earthborn Elements, Soap Flakes, 21 Lb - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61HukbmnTrL.jpg) ![Earthborn Elements, Soap Flakes, 21 Lb - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61owLYeiUbL.jpg) ![Earthborn Elements, Soap Flakes, 21 Lb - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/718L50T5k2L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple, Pure, and Perfect for Homemade Cleaning & Laundry *by E***. on April 20, 2025* These Earthborn Elements soap flakes are exactly what I needed for making my own non-toxic cleaning and laundry products.
