Samsung galaxy s7 is incompatible, however the galaxy s7 edge will work, though inconsistent.From out email:Here is the manual of how to use quick charge 3.0: Firstly,quick charge 3.0 can work, only if your cell phone support QC3.0,please make sure your cell phone support qc3.0 first. if so, connect the power bank to your cell phone with the built-in cable,Quick charge function is activated only if the USB output not connected for charging,otherwise,the QC port output is only 5V. If you cell phone support and default QC3.0 model, after connect the power bank with built-in cable, it will be quick charge, when charging your device the voltage can vary, the other cell phone which support qc3.0 need set your cell phone to turn on quick charge before connect the power bank with built-in cable. after turn on quick charge, and connect this power bank, it will be fast charge model.From my own research, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is compatible with QC3.0 charging, however the software in the phone is not optimized for 3.0, due to the 2 models showing up with 2 different processor types. Both are compatible with QC 2.0 type chargers.I'm essentially QA testing at this point, but I have gotten fast charge to turn on in the Galaxy S7 Edge, and it can do what I bought it to do. As far as I can tell, Fast Charging turns on once every 9 times you plug in. I'm checking to see if there's a specific way you plug it in which increases the likelihood of it picking up. I'll update again if I figure something out.The battery itself feels really nice. It's a bit thick, but easily fits behind your phone, fits snug inside a jean pocket. The micro usb plug is also a surprise. It's designed such that you don't have to plug it in a certain way. Front, or back, either works. I found that having the back against the flat grey surface on my galaxy s7 edge is on and off in terms of the phone picking up the charge. Again, working out some kinks for that. I believe that if you hold down the battery indicator button for 2 seconds, the charge drops. I haven't figured out how to get the battery to come back up, other than waiting several minutes. Could be a shut off, could be a restart. Not sure of that still.---------------------------------------------------------------------------No instructions. Got it to fast charge once, don't know how to do it again. It only regular charges. I think plugging in and holding the button turns it off? After this, I can't turn it back on again, even after unplugging and replugging.I need instructions!!!

This device is awesome, charges my phone (Samsung Note 5) faster than anything else, including plugged into an outlet. The connecter is a micro usb, but its reversible, similar to type c, so it can go in either way. Very cool.

Very impressed with this thing. Charges fast, built in micro USB with extra port. With technology always changing why spend 5x as much on something that can get the job done just fine
