Secure96 Mezzanine Board (96Boards Mezzanine, 40 Pins LS Connector)

The Secure96's FTDI chip (Micro USB connector) is connected to UART0 on the 40-pin Low-Speed expansion header, but several 96Boards actually use UART1 for debug output (HiKey,  HiKey 960 , Bubblegum-96). There is no jumper or solder option on the Secure96 mezzanine to switch between the two UARTs. Thus the Secure96 sadly is not a super-set of the  Seeed UART Serial mezzanine  adding some SPI and I²C security chips on top of serial. Neither this Secure96 mezzanine nor the UART Serial mezzanine are designed to be stacked. That means you cannot operate 96Boards "headless" that use UART1 for debugging if you attach this Secure96 mezzanine board.The  MediaTek X20  board does use UART0, the Poplar board has a Micro USB connector and the Orange Pi i96 board has external pin-headers respectively for debugging, so should be unaffected.Another word of warning: Be sure to align the Micro USB connector and button to the outside of your 96Board Consumer Edition (even LS connector pin numbers); when connecting it in the wrong orientation my FTDI chip emitted black smoke (i.e., no protection against 8-18 V DC vs. 1.8 V TTL) and is unusable since.
