I make my own chains for my jewelry from bulk by the foot cable chain with links measuring 1.5mm. These work perfectly as is on this chain size, the open rings ready to accept directly onto the link's small gauge. Perfect for finer chains...for larger gauge chains, move up a size or two just to make the opening and closing of the clasp easier (more of a tip than a detraction). Excellent quality silver clasp!
