HappyBird Harness – Small

It stated in the description that it would fit a small bird such as a conure ,which I have, but in reality it is much too big

This cage was a huge letdown. I bought it for my ferrets and the first thing I noticed is that the bottom tray that slides out for easy cleaning isn't even the same size as the bottom of the cage. It's smaller! So a huge amount of the litter and food the ferrets inevitably fling around ended up all over the floor. Also, this cage is made for birds as well, and as a result there are ten small door/windows that slide up. I had to cable tie them all shut so the ferrets wouldn't have ten escape routes. Not a problem really, but it's not aesthetically pleasing. Another defect which makes this cage unfriendly to critters is the weak way the levels and ladders attach to the cage. It gives such a feel of instability, I could tell my ferrets were wary about climbing around. Not to mention they knocked the shelves clean off since they're just resting loosely in a hole. I had to cable tie everything down, which is fine unless you want to do some re-arranging or cleaning. Then it's a huge waste of time to cut cable ties and add new ones each time.And as if all this wasn't bad enough, the cage arrived broken! That was not Amazon's fault but poor craftsmanship. Two of the bars at the base of the cage were loose and we had to do a lot of quick jiggery-pokery to make sure the ferrets didn't notice/make it worse. Then, to make matters EVEN WORSE, in less than a week we found three more loose bars! I can only imagine what kind of injuries the ferrets could have incurred if they found the broken bars first.The whole design of the cage is awful. Possibly it's fine for birds, but for any other critters I'd say look elsewhere. For the amount of money this cage costs, you're much better off dishing out the extra pounds for a better quality cage that actually does it's job.

after building my own housing for my Degu's i decided to buy something with a bit better air circulation. for the price of this cage i thought i was onto a win win situation, great size, great price and what looked like a decent quality cage... WRONG.all the points mentioned in the previous review are pretty much EXACTLY the same experiences i had. the easy clean tray (which was cracked when received) is smaller than the cage meaning that i literally have poo (thats right i said it...POO!) and urine and my bedroom floor resulting in me having to shampoo my carpet. i have resorted to placing the cage on top of a sheet of MDF that i carpeted in an attempt to make it a little less of an eye sore. i bought a cheap vacum cleaner that is constantly set up next to the cage to clean up the poop which is needed on a daily basis.the poorly designed ladders and platforms are a nightmare! one minute there fine but the next minute i have my Degu's scared half to death by a ladder coming off the platform and falling in the cage! its a miricle that my little critters didnt get injured or even worse killed!!!! but i too have had to secure them down.I have also had a problem with parts of the cage wires being loose (2 of them)... it didnt take long for them to find the only 2 (out of 100 plus wires)that wernt secure and had spent hours chewing at them in an attempt for Degu freedom! i have now secured these.the ten slide doors for the feeding dishs also have had to be secured as they have figured out how to lift them up... luckily they hadnt figured out that if one lifts the door then another could escape WITH EASE!.one thing i will add is that i had a "silent spinning wheel" attached to the side of the cage. i use the quote marks for a reason.... that reason being that the wires are so thin/poor quality that when they are running in the wheel the ENTIRE cage shakes which makes for an extremely annoying sound (worse than that of a standard spinning wheel)i gave this 2 stars as there are a few good points... the cage is a decent size. as is the doors with decent locking mechanisms. it is on castor wheels for easy manouverability... thats actually as far as the good points go... <- after i wrote this i have spent the last 10 minutes debating whether or not to give it 1 star but will stick to the 2 stars.I WOULD LIKE TO POINT OUT THAT THE ONLY REASON I CAME ACROSS THIS PRODUCT AGAIN WAS THAT I AM SEARCHING FOR A NEW CAGE AND GETTING RID OF THIS ONE.DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT.
