Works as expected!

Tried an entire bottle of drain cleaner but it didn’t do anything. Bought this hoping it would work. Destroyed the clog in my shower. Took more timing unscrewing the drain cover than using this tool.

I purchased this as wishful thinking due to a looming plumbing problem. We have a sink that used to back up and overflow far too frequently and it was making the telltale gurgling sounds that always warned that a problem was looming. When the item arrived, I rolled my eyes and thought I can't believe I thought this might work. I hadn't paid attention to the specs and it was much smaller and less substantial that I was expecting (my fault for not reading carefully). Much to my surprise, about a minute later, I had threaded it through the sink and pulled it back out and it completely worked. The sink is draining perfectly and the gurgling ceased immediately. I don't know how it would do on a serious clog, but it absolutely worked for this scenario. I spent the rest of the day thrilled that it worked instead of going to rent a snake.

We gave it a try and unfortunately it doesn't work as it is supposed to do. The first 24 inches or so it works just fine but after that, the metal wire starts turning around itself and not doing anything to the drain anymore. It was not expensive but we still sent it back.

Worked like a charm.
