Dupont Advion Cockroach Bait Arenas Pack of 60 (Full Case)

Not sure what to make of it... I had a cockroach problem several years ago when an old couple who were hoarders were moving out. And even then, it was a little bit which the regular Combat bait took care of beautifully. Actually, I had ordered Advion back then too, but I was afraid to use it because, based on the reviews, it was made out to be crack for roaches and a magnet for a hoard of roaches. I didn’t want to attract more roaches from the hoarders. So, I eventually threw it away. Since then, I never had a problem until I had a guest. She kept leaving food out overnight, and not rinsing the empty cans. A few weeks ago, I thought I had seen one cockroach, but I couldn’t tell because it disappeared so fast. I thought I imagined it. A few days later, I saw one again. Then it stopped. Then my friend told me about it. It was always just one. So I figured and I hoped it was just that one lone guy. I was so grossed out, and hoped there wouldn’t be a hoard of them So I got this product again. I used it this time. I was expecting a swarm of roaches, eating the stuff and dying before my eyes. Instead nothing happened. I kept close guard of the baited areas. Then late evening, I saw the little guy. It seemed like it was the lone guy. It was just one. He was hanging around the bait, and as I got closer with a flashlight, he didn’t run away. Instead, he was moving slowly, and going in circles inside the burner. It was absolutely disgusting, but I kept watching him to see if this thing really worked. I kept checking every 30 min to one hour. He was still alive! But moving slowly. I gave up and went to bed around 5 am. I woke up, and he was by the sink. I wasn’t sure if he was alive, but he didn’t look dead on his back. When I turned the flashlight on, he didn’t move. I got tired of waiting. Obviously, this product didn’t do what other reviewers said it had done for them. I covered the little guy with wads of paper towel and smashed it. He wasn’t moving when I placed the paper towel, but I wasn’t going to wait around any longer because I knew by then that this product didn’t work. It couldn’t kill one little cockroach. It either doesn’t work or the NYC cockroaches are picky eaters or are tough as SOB. 

Love this. IT REALLY WORKS. MUST CHANGE MONTHLY.
