Trivial Pursuit: Radio Times
I purchased this as a Christmas present for my parents whom are both in their 60s. I have been reading The Radio Times since my childhood and they, well let's just say that it's much longer.I already own the Millennium Edition (in a silver box) of Trivial Pursuit as well as having played the Genus II blue boxed one in my childhood. One thing that I've noticed is how the board changes throughout every edition and this one, with its copious pie squares, seems to facilitate a shorter game, which is fine by me.As for the game itself, the six categories encompass TV and Radio topics, as you'd expect. The Radio questions are rather tricky to say the least! Saying that, I'd recommend it to an older audience of BBC Radio 4 fans.In conclusion: I want my own game now. It's great and I love it.

Tricky questions but well worth buying!
We don't watch so much TV anymore and aren't avid radio listeners either so that might be why these questions are so blinking hard! I'm not great at trivia questions, but enjoy them all the same, but I can usually get on average one or two out of the 'ordinary' Trivial Pursuit pack, but the average is about one question in two cards on this one! However... The board is a different design, allowing the winning 'journey' to be shorter so that compensates but the real pleasure is in the 'Oh, do you remember that series?" and "Oh Yes! Now, what was his name....." outbursts during the game - it really is in the playing, rather than the winning!

Only for TV Buffs.
Good fun. You need to be quite knowledgable on TV stuff. Our teenage daughter got demoralised as she knew so few of the older programmes.

Bit disappointed with this
Bit disappointed with this, very obscure questions. Unless you're an avid TV buff, then this isn't for you. Wouldn't say it's a family game to play on Christmas Day either, the original Trivial Pursuit is much better. Try the family edition as that has adult and child questions alike.

Best for very alert old people
Some ridiculously obscure questions here, and none from the last ten years. Best for very alert old people!

I was so excited to play this but the questions ...
I was so excited to play this but the questions are so obscure it's almost impossible to play. We ended up having to cheat, sifting through the questions to find one that player might have a chance to answer correctly. This may explain why it comes with a much simplified board with many more 'cheese' places.

Trivial Pursuit I find better than Monopoly
Trivial Pursuit I find better than Monopoly, makes the brain try to work, one of the best family games ever invented, and comes in so many guises now. This one doesn't draw on your general Knowledge, but taxes your memory, very difficult to dredge up answers if one didn't spend one's life glued to TV!
