The owl was a bit smaller than I expected, wings are plastic, and the three piece assembled pole stand flimsy. I plan on replacing the pole with a sturdier one since the wind in my backyard can gust up pretty high. I will see how it weathers outdoors over the summer in the elements.

VERY NICE ITEM. ONE POTENTIAL PROBLEM IN THAT A SHORT NARROW ROD HOLDS THE BIRD TO THE STACK, AND I CAN INVISION THE WIND LIFTING IT OUT AND BLOWING AWAY. WILL HAVE TO BRING IT IN NIGHTS. IF I CAN THINK OF A WAY TO ANCHOR I WILL IMPROVE IT. NO PROBLEM IF YOU HAVE A SHELTERED AREA.

Great addition to the backyard, fenceline or garden
These spinners are pretty sturdy and fun to watch. I have four of them now in the backyard. They will fade and crack a bit so don't expect them to last for years and years. Easy to assemble and adds to the yard.

After about a year the plastic tip holding the wings ...
After about a year the plastic tip holding the wings on broke off. This item should be stronger. Is possible to fix with nuts, bolts, washers, and a length of 3/16 threaded rod.

cute! The wings are plastic, I don't know how well they will hold up to the west Texas wind. I still like it and will enjoy it as long as I can.
