DY016 Hmayart Ink Stone with Cap for Chinese Calligraphy and Sumi-e Painting

I love this ink stone. I first tried it with a hard Tung oil ink stick and was pleased with the ease of use. The diameter is smaller than one may expect but with the depth of the hollowed out area, grinding the ink stick was a breeze. The lid fits well and helps prevent evaporation in this arid environment.

I like the fact that you can keep a quantity of ink wet and dust free for many days. Also the size is handy it does not take up a lot of room on the painting table

It looks exquisite. Top quality. The ink doesn't adhere to the stone wall, very easy to wash out.Love it!
