Almost, but not quite
The leather felt great, soft and supple with and amazing fit and finish. Maybe even on the verge of being too soft, but personally I rather it be a little softer than too stiff. The problem is when you get to the inside, and this is why I'm sure the seller does not show pictures of the inside in this add. The place to hold the pen is gust a slit in the Mille for the leather liner leading to the area between the interior and exterior leather. This seems like a really poor design. I can imagine that the average pen will eventually eat away at this area leaving you with a gaping ugly hole in the middle of your padfolio. Very poor design indeed.Secondly, the interior side opposite the writing pad has a hard backing. This unfortunately seems to be cardboard. It feels very cheap, and does not match the overall design of the rest of the product. Sent it back.

Just what I wanted!!
I couldn't be happier. Exactly as I expected. This is my second Piel zippered padfolio.......my first one got wet after about 8 years and ruined it. This is a high quality item at a very good price. Also, arrived a day ahead of schedule.

Beautiful!
The picture of the padfolio doesn't do it justice. It was just what I was looking for: well-made, soft leather, very high quality. The cost was just right, and worth every penny.

Nice portfolio, well constructed. Rather a pen loop than a pen "pocket" kinda like a slit in the leather. Great product! Thank you.

Inside liner is cheap and looks like cheap cardboard. The portfolio is not substantial at all, not sure what you are paying for....open it and it looks like you have a $8.00 Padfolio.

Little slim but very clean and professionally designed
I've been using this for about a month now and it is slowly stretching into a decent-size padfolio. Originally found it a little too Slim but it is expanding nicely. Love the leather on it and it is a very simple and basic padfolio that looks very sharp. If on sale I would definitely recommend. Piel leather is very nice and this certainly does.
