Works but barely
I have a DC24 Multifloor that I bought in 2012. The lower hose gave up the ghost so I ordered a new one here and checked the part number against Dyson's site and eveything seemed fine. When I pulled off the old hose it had the part number C1 stamped on it. The one I ordered had CG2 on it. It's much longer than my original part and slightly narrower (slighlty). It seems that in an effort to streamline things, or just not stock a ton of replacement parts, Dyson has some "universal" repair parts. It took a lot of muscle, patience, and a small flat object to wedge it on there. But, on there it is and I pray that it last 6 yrs like the old one because that was no fun.
