Such a great smart plug. It was super easy for me to hook up with very easy instructions to follow.I have been trying to fit all my plugs that have lamps throughout my house with these kinds of devices.I love knowing that i can tell my Alexa to turn on or off a light in a specific area. Its really handy at night so that i don't have to walk through a dark house flipping switches.Also if you don't have the Amazon Alexa like i have you can use it on your phone with the required app that you can download through the playstore or with your iphone. Its super easy to set up, and the instructions are easy to read and follow. Once you have the main app you can turn the plug on and off with a button on your phone or like i did and get it linked with Alexa and then just use voice commands. i love it and its a great device. definitely worth it to upgrade my house and my sockets.

I have a pile of these, and they simply WORK and LAST. I am controlling items from simple night lights all the way to their full 10-amp capacity, and I have never had one fail or stop responding. Not only can you use these for the typical "Alexa, turn on the living room lamp" kinda thing, but they also have a built-in timer AND a "sleep timer." I keep finding more and more uses for these. Plus, the smartphone app lets you see at a glance which items are on and off.

I bought this for a peculator coffee pot I have. The pot does not have a timer and takes about ten minutes to brew a pot of coffee. With this device I simply either wake up in the morning and with the tap of an app on my iPhone turn the pot on as I am getting out of bed and changed or I just use the app to have a start and end time that the pot will be powered on/off. Extremely simple to use. The product fits into a standard outlet and easily links to your home wifi system. I can turn the outlet on from anywhere in the world pending my phone has internet service. Great price too. I would recommend this product.

So these are technically smart plugs, and they do work with Alexa, but they are not designed with Alexa in mind (or Google or whatever voice command you use). The app that must be used to use this as a smart plug is very unintuitive. I probably would not purchase these again, and don't think I would recommend to anyone else either. Not to mention the enormous size of the plugs makes them difficult to use and impossible to put on a power strip. However, they do what they are advertised to do, and for that reason alone I gave 5 stars.

I use these to control various lights in the house. I love the capability to schedule on/off times throughout the day, mostly for a pseudo-security system. We also like to control them through Alexa. The only thing to remember when setting them up is that they only work on 2.4GHz wifi, which means I need to remember to switch my phone to 2.4GHz to set them up. Once configured, I can switch my phone back to 5GHz and all is good.

I love that this brand supports IFTTT! I haven’t jumped on the Alexa bandwagon yet, but I can still control the socket with the IFTTT app. It was pretty easy to set everything up—I’m a 50 year old woman, but I do work in the tech field.

In fact, the Mini Smart Plug combines a compact design with great compatibility and affordability for a wonderful overall package.Naturally, you can control your devices from anywhere and schedule when you want to them to turn on and off. There's also Away Mode, which will randomly turn your device on or off so that people think you're home. This is mostly valuable if you're using the Mini Smart Plug with a lamp rather than, say, a blender.
