The older I get the older my eyes get and these are very meticulous with accurate vision. I see better from far away and you have to get right up on these to see the chrome that you're covering up. They were a little short on the back end of my car, by the way that is the only part I used. Like another reviewer said, I put vent shades on my car windows and it left that back chrome strips on my trunk that I also wanted to match. These look great! He did use a heat gun, I also didn't drive it the entire weekend and didn't run it through a car wash or wash it myself for several weeks because I didn't want to risk it coming undone. I purchased these in November 2025 and it's now April 2026 and they still look good. It was expensive to buy the entire set when I only needed the back strips but to me, it was well worth it.

I love these black out, chrome delete decals. My husband applied them, I wasn't even getting involved with that. The older I get the older my eyes get and these are very meticulous with accurate vision. I see better from far away and you have to get right up on these to see the chrome that you're covering up. I have only put on two of the overlays because I ran out of daylight, but they look really good. Follow the instructions, they definitely help. And using the heat gun is imperative for sure. My heat gun is not the best, but it did the job just fine. I think you could probably also use a blow dryer if you let it warm up for a minute or so. Not sure where the bad ratings are coming from, but these work great.
