Remastered to celebrate the bands 30th anniversary, ALIAS' debut and follow up album's sound have now been elevated to today's standards. The band's rise coincided with the beginnings of the worldwide progressive/power metal movement that was being led by such bands as Queensryche and Fates Warning. Within that new movement, the band was praised by publications such as Hit Parader, Kerrang, Aarschok America and Metal Forces and received airplay from a new breed of stations like KNAC in Los Angeles, WKNH, WFBG and WRTN in New York looking for the next big thing. The bands songs ran the gamut of metal styles with melodic metal fair such as Prisoner of Dreams and Metal To Infinity with progressive arrangements such as Alpha Omega and Dreamer and thrashy tunes such as Knight of the Realm and The System and Ultraviolence.

Excellent music.
Unlike the unfortunate person who bought the album by mistake I believe this album to be good quality "hair metal". Okay it is bit similar to other artists of that time such as Winger, but it is a fine example of the genre, played really well and produced crisply. I'd give it 4 stars generally, but with the other reviewer giving only 1 I will give it 5 as to not put off so many browsing buyers.

Solid album of '80s hair metal
Alias are a bit of an easily overlooked gem if slightly strained vocals and crunchy, bassy guitars are your thing. There is not a single duff track on this album, and some absolutely stellar ones---"One More Chance" being a personal favourite. The mastering is clear and free of clipping or overcompression, with sharp drums and rich bass.

This is a fantastic album, well produced and the vocals (as always from Freddy Curci) are AMAZING.If your into 80's rock...this is for you.

Love Freddie's voice
Fabulous singer - great group - great album.........................a win/win/win situation. I could listen to Freddie Curci's voice all day long....................a magical experience and not to be missed by any Alias fan. Fast delivery was really appreciated.
