Thank goodness for this! After a coffee spill on my Mackbook Pro this was the perfect fix- after a good cleaning. Hardest part was removing the old battery- crazy securely put. LOVE that this comes with a keyboard-condom to avoid repeats of the chaos. : )

Installed easily enough, though the actual capacity (8786 mAh) is lower than the advertised capacity (9500 mAh).

Good product. It met my requirements. Will buy again.

It has been less than a year and the battery already needs to be replaced.

Aside from the fact that best batteries were bent and needed to be unbent to fit inside my computer. I was shocked to find that after draining the batteries (have no idea how long they lasted as I knocked the power cord out) but for being 30% full the reported to take 12-1/2 hours to charge! WHAT?!?! I thought that this was a mistake as I saw the time accelerate but her it is at 50% and the batteries waver between not charging at all to trickling so I don't expect them to charge fully at best in a day, assuming they actually charge at all.Aside from being shoddy quality, it is frustrating because replacing the batteries is no small feat. It took me over 3 hours to do this work and the tools included are not sufficient. For instance, there is no glue solvent to help remove the old batteries nor is there a garrotte cutter or card lifter either. Don't skimp on these and buy a kit from a reputable vendor.
