The grip is comfortable and attaches securely to the phone, even with the case on the phone. The Bluetooth shutter release pairs easily with the phone. The shutter button attaches to the grip via a magnet and detaches for remote use. The light built into the grip has several brightness levels and provides good illumination up to about 3-4 feet. I prefer the form factor of a traditional camera, but this grip is a good compromise.

Works great and connects via bluetooth to my phone without any problems (Samsung S25 Ultra). It mechanically fits my large phone, but it's tight-- perhaps a millimeter to spare, if that.

Definitely increased stability and adds comfort and functionality. The delay from pushing the remote to the actual shot is intentional as it allows you a fraction of a second to steady your hand (if used in place on the grip). The remote can be removed if using a tripod for an even steadier shot. The light is a fill light for SHORT distances from subject, and it helps with harsh shadows or uneven lighting. Highly recommend.

I went on a 2 week trip and planned to take a lot of pictures with my iPhone 12 pro. Normally I just use my pop socket to brace my phone in my hand but thought it would be nice to have a more ergonomic grip to hopefully have a more steady hand. Overall, this does the job and does hold my phone securely (with the popsocket removed). I never really worried about my phone falling out as the rubber padded grips do grip really well. The remote does work after you pair it to bluetooth and it did actually make it easier/smoother to take multiple pictures in rapid succession. However, my biggest complaint is that it disconnects from bluetooth very quickly. I guess it's for battery saving purposes, but my goodness, it was a real pain to deal with ESPECIALLY when there's something you want to capture quickly. It seems like it disconnects from bluetooth within 1-2 minutes of locking your phone. When you unlock, it takes entirely too long to re-establish a bluetooth connection. It got to the point where I honestly stopped using it all together because it became very annoying to deal with. Like I said, it DOES work well when you have an established connection so for intermittent photos, it's a good buy. But if you're planning to be taking pictures all day, it can get quite frustrating. As far as the light goes, it's a nice feature on paper but in practice it's just "meh." You can at least adjust the brightness, but there's only one color temperature which is not very helpful. There is a cold shoe mount available so you could add your own fill light, but I can't really comment on that feature as I haven't used it yet. Overall, it works and does what it says. I will probably still use it, but not as much as I had hoped given the bluetooth connectivity issue.

I love the grip, it really feels like I'm holding a professional camera.
