I'm just sort of rediscovering Lloyd Cole, especially his solo work, most of which I've been unfamiliar with, as I was into his more well-known work with the Commotions back in the day.There are a lot of amazing solo tracks on here too, which is prompting me to start checking out the albums they came from.One annoyance though is that one of my favourite songs, Morning Is Broken, appears on this disc as much edited and shortened 3:43 version, with a clumsy fadeout, rather than the brilliant full-length 5:19 version that is listed in the booklet notes.That was quite disappointing and I've had to buy that track separately from iTunes in its full form to replace it with on my phone.Other than that - a great introduction (and reminder) of a very underrated artist.

Very good, enjoyed the cd haven't heared some of these tracks since the 80's.I can't understand why you require a minimum number of words for a review, once I've given my comments that should be it regardless of how many words it contains, I can't see why it matters how many words I have used. I won't be submitting any more reviews, your silly requirements have really annoyed me.

Wow! Can this man string a song together! 21 tracks on this cd, everyone of them a belter. From the heyday of Lloyd Cole and the Commotions through to his solo career, this guy wrote the book on commercial songwriting. Every track tells a story, and the music is so catchy you can't get it out of your head. Best CD I have bought for ages. Keep writing those songs Lloyd!

Never realised just how many songs I actually knew. If you were a teenager growing up in the 80's and liked the alternative music instead of DURAN DURAn and other mainstream bands, this is a great album.

I had forgotten how much I like Lloyd Cole. This album features all the greats.

Ahh, memories! If you think you may have forgotten some of these tunes, wait until you hear them, you'll be humming away! Lloyd is so damn good!

This is the most beautiful music and we'll written lyrics to listen to. I just discovered this artist recently and enjoyed it so much.

Pas assez de Commotions trop de Cole. On comprend pourquoi la carrière solo de Lloyde COLE reste bien inférieure que celle avec son groupe. Les 10 premiers morceaux sont excellents, le reste plus anecdotique, ...
