I bought this with a degree of trepidation because of some of the dodgy reviews, However, it has been fantastic. We have turned down the sound alarm as on the first morning it went off our little one just burst into tears. Not a great way to start the morning - for any of us! The noise of the monkey's eyes opening is usually enough - and let's face it the prime purpose of a sleep trainer clock isn't to wake your young one up - but to keep them in bed until it's time to get up! On both counts it works perfectly. Bed time ritual finished with saying night night to the monkey clock and she pushes the button to close his eyes - excellent cue that means it really IS bedtime now & time to sleep.We haven't had any issues with the quality of this clock (touch wood) - we've had it for nearly 6 months now. We've changes the batteries twice in that time. When the batteries start to run down the clock still works for telling the time but the monkey's eyes stop opening & closing.Our clock has hardly any ticking noise - you have to put your ear up to it to hear it properly.The digital clock runs a bit fast compared to the main clock but it's not really a problem, we just adjust it by a couple of minutes every couple of weeks or so.We have ALL been very happy with this clock and would definitely recommend it as a sleep trainer clock that will hold the motivation for your little one to stay in bed to see the monkey's eyes open. It really is excellent.

Our girls, 3 & 2, have a gate on their room and whilst they are waking up earlier than desired, they know that they won't be 'allowed out' until Mo Mo opens his eyes. So it's working for it's intended purpose. It is expensive for a chunk of plastic but there weren't any better alternatives that I could find. On the rare occasion that they sleep past his eyes opening the mechanism hasn't woken them up - unlike the reviews of other people. Also the ticking is fine, they have never commented on it. I like it because unlike other such clocks, this has a 'proper' clock face so may, in time, be useful for teaching the time rather than one that just has a changing picture or a number of stars that go out. Easy to set

Ordered this with some trepidation after reading the mixed reviews but my grand daughter really wanted it so thought I'd try it - what a waste of time! The first one received worked twice before the digital clock failed completely. We returned this to Amazon and thinking it might be one of a bad batch ordered another from a different retailer. The knob for setting the analogue clock was broken on receipt so again this was returned. Back to Amazon and this time even before removing the clock from the packaging it was obvious that the hands on the analogue clock were swinging around the face and the clock would be useless. My grand daughter has now been told that we won't be ordering another. The quality control of this manufacturer must be non existent and we have had a discussion with Amazon customer service who are investigating this.The only good thing to have come out of this very frustrating experience is that we have thoroughly tested Amazon's returns and refund policy which we have found to be the best we have ever used - simple, fast and free of charge. It will certainly mean that I will have no qualms about using Amazon in the future - cannot praise their service highly enough

We are on our 4th clock, these are a real mix of quality and they have only lasted about 6 months each. Our first was sent back as it did not work. Our current one makes a bit more noise than the others, the ones we have had in between have begun to run slow and even a new battery has not worked and also on 2 versions the monkey woke up with a lot of clicking. These are OK, but we are not buying any more.

This brilliant clock is an essential part of our 4 year old daughter's (and our!) routine.Every night she loves putting the monkey to sleep and she still enjoys waiting for it to open its eyes each morning. It provides a clear visual signal of when it is time for the child to go to sleep, and to get up. It is an incredibly well-made clock--colourful and attractive for a child-sturdy enough to cope with a small child handling it.-clear analogue and digital clock faces for teaching telling the time-easy to operate-useful night lightHaving spent quite a while researching these kinds of toddler trainer clocks, I would say this is definitely the best one around- happy customers!

great clock & idea. cover on back could be a bit more sturdy & quite noisy when monkey opens & closes his eyes. apart from that its a great clock & my daughter loves it

Someone told me about this clock. Couldn't find it elsewhereI bought it for my son who is 7 yrs old and has downs syndrome, after I was telling someone I had heard him asking the dig at 4 am I she knew the time...My son loves monkeysSadly thus clock is plastic and my son cannot quite understand it doesn't go in the garden with him, it might not last.I have tried other clocks for children that change colourHe didn't get that.Thus click has both hands which are also luminous, a night light that can be but on, which just could be for telling the time and also a digital clock which is also used to set the alarm.You can have the alarm sound at various levelsBut the main thing on this clock is that when you set the alarm by holding the button on the small digital click the monkey closes his eyes - and that's bedtime. When the alarm goes off the monkey opens his eyes 👀 - time to get up or in my sons case he can tell anytime after that its ok to go play outside - sure my neighbours are glad its not 5 am.I wish I had known about this years ago for my daughter as she was hopeless at telling the time right up to a teenager, thankfully my disabled son has a little more knowledge, perhaps that's worrying.

Very plastic feel and look but the most important thing is that it is keeping my 5yr old in her bedroom and not in ours! Worth it! And more fun than the sun/moon clock which we had previously and broke down.

Cercavo una sveglia per mia figlia, che combinasse diverse caratteristiche, questa ha sicuramente colpito ma qualche piccola pecca ce l'ha. Effettivamente, come avevo già letto su qualche commento, l'orologio analogico perde qualche minuto col passare del tempo. Più che altro per quello che è effettivamente quasi 35 € mi sembrano un po' troppi.. Ha sicuramente funzionato l'idea per farla andare a dormire quando "anche Momo dorme" e di non disturbare se si sveglia e lui sta ancora dormendo. Forse sarebbe stato carino che ci fosse anche l'orario per fargli chiudere gli occhi in automatico. Tutto sommato resta comunque un buon acquisto che consiglio per chi, come me vuole piano piano dare autonomia ai propri figli.

Die Uhr kam pünktlich und ohne Beschädigung etc.Wir wären sehr glücklich darüber.Nur ist die Uhr (die extra für Kinder ist) ein mal, aus noch nicht mal einen Meter Höhe, runter geplumpst. Nicht feste geschweige denn extra runter geworfen.Einfach aus der Hand geplumpst und schon klappt die Augen Funktion nicht mehr. Was sehr schade ist denn deshalb haben wir sie gekauft.Laut ist sie auch

Le vendeur m'a envoyé une étiquette me permettant de renvoyer gratuitement le premier réveil (qui ne fonctionnait pas), et j'ai reçu un produit identique, en bon état de marche. Ma fille est ravie de ce petit singe qui ouvre les yeux, et elle apprécie d'être éveillée en douceur par les sons de la jungle.

This is a really silly and poorly designed product. The backlight does not stay on so if your child wakes up before Momo's eyes are open there's no way she can tell. It also doesn't always work - we found Momo sleeping-in on many mornings. It completely broke after a few days and now sits in the back of a closet with it's eyes half-way closed...really creepy (should just throw it away).

El Despertador es curioso, con la apertura y cierre de los ojos ayuda a que los peques se vayan a la cama.Como pega pondría el sonido de despertar, ya que a mis hijas no las despierta (aunque se puede regular el volumen)... es como un sonido suave de selva... y pájaros..... y si lo pones alto no es agradable
