FSC-BP103B Bluetooth 5.1 Proximity Low Energy Beacon LE iBeacon Support Eddystone iBeacon and AltBeacon Comply with Android & iOS System

I think it works well so far(only had it a day). It's true theres nearly zero information that comes with it but just a little net searching will give you all the info you need. There's a pdf on this exact beacon all in english. The app has hardly any downloads but it actually works pretty well which I wasn't expecting. You can change a lot of the parameters of the beacon with it. As of now I would buy it again. Will update in the future if this opinion changes.

Electronically these seem great, and work just fine as BLE beacons, the problem with this model is that the LED that indicates it is on or off has no window and the plastic is too opaque for it to just shine through. I had to drill a hole in the case to see the LED on mine.

They work, 1st order arrived yesterday so was able to swap them and confirm the battery was dead, so if you get one and it doesn't work its likely the battery.

I was expecting the beacon to be turned ON by pulling a strap( as mentioned in the manual) though there was none and I was stuck with the application not able to recognize the beacon. I email the customer service (Alex) and he replied immediately with the renewed instruction on pressing the beacon for 5 sec to turn it ON. Giving 4 Star for the quick response and taking away 1 star for non-updated instruction.

I ordered 3 of these. The only tool to program them is their smartphone app. Even with the beacons a couple of feet away.. they rarely connect to the app. I've noticed that, no matter what I set in the app for which beacons to send, these units seem to just send whatever they want to. Turn off Eddystone? It still send it. Turn on iBeacon? It still sends Eddystone only. So, they're fine if you can get an app to connect to them and program them.. I suppose. But at the moment, the offering is very weak.UPDATE: After trying to work with their terrible app and failing to delete broadcast types or set new ones up, and reading the privacy agreement in CHINESE.. I deleted the app and tossed these in the garbage where they belong. Lowered my rating to 1 star.

This is total junk. The app just crashes when I make changes or update. It doesn't show up in google beacon tools. In the feasycom app (that crashes when I make edits) only the eddystone signal is constant and the iBeacon signal is intermittent. So it doesn't work in other beacon apps and is spotty in its own legacy app. Also it looks like a 4 pack but it's only 1 unit. It's just showing all the colors in the pic but doesn't let you choose which one. The support/website is aweful. Returned.

Please do not buy this product. It does not work as advertised. It's a waste of time and resources.The distance of broadcast is less than 10 times smaller than what they claim to be 80m.Even with the broadcast power at maximum, the signal strength is so week that at one inch from the phone it shows very very low RSSI (received signal strength). If you move away a few feet from the beacon, you come out of it's range.They show a picture of 3 beacons and they sell just one. Very misleading for the buyer.The battery life on the Amazon item description is 1 year, in the item manual is 200 days.

日本語の説明がカタコトで、不安でしたが希望通りでした。CR2032電池交換も簡単で、スイッチでオンオフが可能です。iBeaconとeddystoneなど同時に出力が可能で、UUIDを変えたiBeaconを複数同時出力することもできます。スマフォのアプリで簡単に設定ができるので満足しています。あとは耐久性と電池持ちがよければいいのですが、出力レベルも調整出来るので期待を込めて★5にしました。2019/2/27 追記いろいろ試したので追記します。どうやらデフォルトでEddystone-TLMを出力しているようでバッテリー電圧が確認出来ます。（残念ながら温度は計測してないみたいですが）あと取説には詳しく書いてないので不明ですがおそらくこちらは加速度センサー非搭載モデルでボタンを押すことでビーコンの間隔を変えるモデルだと思います。これで受信側でボタンを押下したこともわかるので応用の幅が広がりました。一つ残念なのが、出力が安定しないことですね。0dBで実験しましたがバラツキがありました。下げれば安定するかもしれませんが、そもそも設定で変更可能な○dBとは○dBmの相対値なのかわからず絶対値の出力が不明です。今度は電池持ちがわかったらまたレビューしようと思います。

電池入れ替えないと使えない。商品自体は良いと思います。

I wanted to use this beacon for temperature monitoring... my bad, it doesn't... Every beacon I used in the past has a temp sensor on it... The range look smaller than the 80m expected. The Feasybeacon app is buggy and/or simply not functionnal... Unable to show the setting page.... Also I had to pay an additionnal broker fee of 23$ to get it in Québec, Canada ! It's expansive to do noting.
