Best CNC Controller. Period!
I build machines and ONLY use the ESS Ethernet card. It’s bulletproof and works perfectly each and every time.

been working for about a week off and on to get everything to work, with no luck and no help
Checked all of the FAQs and the forum asked questions on the forum and got absolutely no response at all. I have been working to get my cnc back up and running for about a week, about to tear out what hair I have left (VERY FRUSTRATING) I have done everything I know to do. So I would suggest DO NOT BUY THIS unless you are very good with computers, because you can't get any help from Warp9Tech Design

I have four will be getting more.
I now have four of these paired with pmdx 126 boards on my cnc machines, I've never had a smoothstepper fail or even have any issues.Be sure to power the smooth stepper from an external 5v power supply! The 126 doesn't have enough juice to ensure issue free operation.

Poor Quality, Marginal Customer Service
I bought this board to upgrade by CNC router, figuring i'd support small business and such instead of buying a Chinese made controller. While it performed great for a couple of months it's suddenly stated throwingconnection errors and the seller (CNC4PC) is refusing to either send a warranty replacement or issue a refund, claiming that there is some magical ground loop that suddenly appeared. The mfg is dragging their heels as well and simply having me "read the FAQ" for setup and changing things on my computer that were perfectly fine 3 weeks ago.It makes a cute hobby controller, but don't depend on it if you plan on wanting to make something like a birthday present that's ready on time or anything.

Not so much with product as the seller
I purchased this product which had 2 bad outputs and since I have a known good opto isolated board I know I didn't blow them so I returned the defective product and was charged 25 bucks for a restocking fee which would lead one to believe it is now back in stock ready to sell to the next person which will have to also pay the restocking fee. Nice scam.

AS EXPECTED
It came very well packaged, and works as expected, it is running the interface for a mill. It works well with Mach 3 or 4 just needs a different driver which is on Warp9s web site.

Needed this
After research to upgrade my CNC to MACH4 I settled on the WARP9 ESS Smoothstepper. It connected easily and works correctly. It arrived really quick.
