Can’t activate software!!!!
This product did not ship with a serial number! On top of that you download the software through some shady google drive link. Instructions are useless and I emailed support with no response for days now. Don’t buy!

For the price and what it will do , great
Beware about the code that stops you from copying ceratain tapes. It was a bear getting this corrected. Customer service not good to say the least, keeps giving you standard answers to other questions.But it does copy well once you get past that point.

Would not play in standard DVD player.
Although this device did transfer my vhs to dvd, the dvd would not play in a standard DVD player. They would only play on my computer media player. The claim that the video was formatted as mpeg2 seems to be false.

Save your time & money, buy this one.
Only <$50 analog-to-USB capture device that works on Windows 10 64-bit after the April 2018 update (Version 1803 aka "Redstone 4"). Works great with OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) for archiving my old VHS tapes to digital files.It does get hot during use, but has managed to survive over 160 hours of my video capturing. I wish it had a metal enclosure instead of plastic to help with heat dissipation.
