Review: Excellent remote - The Anderic learning IR remote arrived in a plastic bag and stuffed into a soft envelope. Thankfully it wasn't damaged. It's a tad larger than I expected, but still comfortable to hold. The lanyard is perfect for hanging the remote out of the way and within easy reach. The buttons are large and feel responsive. I installed a pair of AAA batteries (not included), and followed the simple directions for learning commands from a 20-year-old Sony receiver remote. The OEM remote has a confusing array of tiny buttons, and I often accidentally changed settings. The receiver is in my shop and pre-programmed for my needs. All I want is a simple way to power the unit on and off, and to adjust the volume. This Anderic remote is the perfect solution. I advise using the learning feature in a low-light area, as direct sunlight or strong LED lighting could interfere with the learning process. It's also best to teach/learn one button at a time, and then exit the learning mode. Then go back in to learn the next button.

Great for seniors. I bought one for my 80 year old father because he kept hitting the source button on the remote. This solved that problem. Simple remote with very few buttons. Haven’t had one issue with it. Paired it with a Samsung model tv and works well.
