I Order this OBD scanner to check it on my own car. I plugged it into the OBD port and connected it with the Car Scanner app using Bluetooth. It connected within a few seconds without any problem. I checked different live data like RPM, coolant temperature, MAF, fuel pressure, intake temperature, EGR and some other readings. MAF reading was also looking stable during my test. One thing I did not expect was that it showed a P0183 fault code, even though there was no Check Engine Light on my car. I clicked on the code and searched about it, and found that it is related to high input/voltage in the fuel temperature sensor circuit. My car was already having some mileage and power issues, so this was useful information for me. I cleared the code and restart the car, but P0183 came back again. Now I can show this code to my mechanic so he can check the related parts and find the actual reason. I also had an AC issue in my car. The AC button light was coming on, but AC was not starting until I drove the car for some time. After clearing the fault code, the AC started working immediately. I cannot say that P0183 was the reason for the AC problem, but I found this quite interesting during my testing. Overall, I found this scanner useful for checking basic car faults and live data. It can also be useful when checking a second-hand car before buying. It is not a replacement for a professional scanner, but it gives useful information which can help a mechanic in finding the problem.
