Overall a very nice light fitting which looks good and provides an instant bright light straight off from being switched on.The fitting isn't nearly as big as some of the photo's suggest so it is a good idea to check the actual dimensions before ordering. The other slight downer is that the design of the unit assumes that the flex it is being connected to is reasonably long. If it is being connected to an existing fitting this may well not be the case and an extra piece of flex and connectors will be needed.If in any doubt get an electrician in. :)

Purchased this to replace an ageing 2D fluorescent fitting in our quite large ensuite bathroom. The 2D light was also 18W I think, but I was expecting this LED replacement to be much brighter - I was not disappointed..The light fitting is easy to fit as a replacement, including a waterproof sealing cover for the leccy terminals on the underside of the fitting. Once installed... WOW! Brighter than I anticipated but a really useful boost to lighting in a room that needed it. A very bright, white daylight-type light - this lights our bathroom (about 2m x 3m) almost as bright as daytime... seriously... I wouldn't recommend for a smaller room - probably 12W would be adequate - but this would light a slightly larger room, like a small kitchen, where a bright, diffuse light was required.The fitting is embellishment-free, but looks to be a good quality, plain plastic opaque cover which yields a good diffuse light.

electrical connector is rubbish one chance push type. had to cut it off and put a more substantial screw connector block, apart from this the light output is fantastic.

Excellent light but not easy to fix light to fitting on a 10' 6'' ceiling especially when you're a wee bit disabled & late 70s. A nice bright light.

Fitting light can be a bit awkward. But superb when fitted.

Perfect light output for our 2.5m x 2.5m x 2.3m (WxDxH) bathroom, and good colour (cool white).Not heavy, easy to fit; no buzzing, smoke or funny smells. Can't comment on long term reliability, but it's convinced me enough that I've ordered another one for our utility room.

Although described as "warm white" this is super bright which is fine if you need more light. I expected "warm white" to have a softer tone with a faint yellow or red hue. This is a bright white. Great for brightening up my light-starved bathroom.
