Quality sleds are apparently a rarity. I looked at several before finding this one. When I was a little girl, we had a Yankee Clipper Flexible Flyer which was great and survived the duration of my childhood. This was the first brand I explored. I was shocked and saddened to discover that Flexible Flyers are not what they used to be...just stapled together junk. I kept searching, and finally found this sled. It is constructed of hard wood and screws. It is even bolstered with extra support underneath the deck. This is a Christmas gift for my two children and I feel good about giving it to them. The pull package will even allow us to pull our little one year old around the yard safely. Now we just need some snow.

We bought this for our 1.5year toddler. She loves it! Nice finish and built quality. The fence is great for little ones. Would be nice if it would come off easier to join the little one for a ride down a hill.

This item arrived fast, was easy to put together, and is very cute. It can hold 2 small children, or one slightly older child.

i grew up with a sleigh like that in germany. Can't wait to slide down the hill with my son on that sleight!

I bought this sled for my daughter mainly because it reminded me of the sled I had as a little girl. It's well made and sturdy, except for the back support. It's simply made of red plastic so it's easily bent. I always worry I'll break it. It's meant for babies of course and anyways older kids won't fit in it because the sled is quite narrow. But after you remove the back, you can use it for years, I'm 125 pounds and sat on it (while my husband was pulling it) and it survived. :) The only thing is, the line they provide is not that strong, it looked close to snapping when I was on the sled. So if you're planning on pulling older kids (or more than 1) on the sled, I recommend replacing the line with something stronger. Otherwise it's a beautiful sled and I hope it'll last years to come.
