Bass Egg – Bass Egg Case White

Pros: Perfect Fit, Provides Protection (of both device and surfaces it goes on), Fun ColorsCons: Switch Accessibility, Open On TopWhen I first saw the cover, I assumed it was just to personalize your Bass Egg in different colors. I had the Bass Egg for a few months without a cover and although I took good care of it, I noticed it started picking up some scratches as friends like to test it out different surfaces. The final straw came when somebody picked it up and dropped it on a wood table. The Bass Egg fared just fine, but the table picked up a nice ding. Then I realized that the cover is 2-way protection of the Bass Egg and the surfaces it is near.It slips on nice and snug and stays in place with no problems. Once it is on, it adds a little bit of padding to the entire exterior with its silicone rubber type material.I chose the white cover and it makes the Bass Egg blend in nicely at home. Most people do not notice that its even there. The white does pick up some dirt, but wipe it down with a wet cloth and its good as new. (Make sure you remove it from the Bass Egg if you are going to scrub it good!)The cover is open on the top allowing the gloss black to show through, I would have like to have seen that covered also, but that's probably just personal preference.My only gripe is that it does make the power switch a little bit hard to use. Certainly not unusable but would be nice to have it be a little bit larger for easier access. The cover is about the same thickness as the switch, so the switch sits flush with the surface of the cover after installing.Overall, I have recommended it to my friends that also have Bass Eggs to help protect the device and the surfaces they may crash into! Wish it came with the Bass Egg to start with.
