Not perfect, but a decent substitute for plastic grocery bags / trash bags that are terrible for the environment
I wanted to reduce my use of non-degradable plastic for getting fruits and vegetables from the grocery (those thin plastic bags), grocery bags, and trash bags. It's the right thing to do, and these bags pretty much do the job. They have no tears or holes (unless you put one in them) and are fairly sturdy. There are, of course, some down sides. One is that they do sweat moisture through--they're not waterproof. On the other hand, I haven't noticed any grease / oils / or other stuff go through (haven't tested systematically, but have been using for months). Am guessing water is a small enough molecule to get through, but other things are not. Haven't got any really wet garbage, so maybe that helps. Also, this plastic isn't as tough as regular plastic grocery bags--it's not very hard to poke a hole through or start a tear that then easily continues with little effort. On the other hand, handled a little gently, this is not a problem. It's also likely why they don't put handles on these bags--just can't be done. The plus is that if I use those little wire ties from the grocery, I can get more into the bag than a regular grocery bag. Plastic bags are truly awful for the environment. These aren't perfect, but they can help you kick the plastic bag habit and do something good for the planet.

Amazing bags. I am using them for kitchen food waste and also for the bathroom trash, because I hate plastic. Despite looking very thin at a first glance, the bags are very strong. I highly recommend this product.

Nice bags for food waste
Nice bags for food waste. We keep in our kitchen a little trash bin under the sink table so we can throw all the fruits and vegetable waste and scraps off the plate at the end of the meal. The bags are on a roll, and they separate very easily and are very well stored in a well-designed box. I love the message that is written on each bags "-1 Plastic Bag Thrown in the Ocean". I feel that taking this step for replacing plastic bags with compostable bags is making the world better and I hope everyone will follow our familys's example.

... 100 bags and it is certified by our local waste removal company
Very Convenient package of 100 bags and it is certified by our local waste removal company. The size is ideal for my kitchen compost bin ( metallic) My main concern was that it will break when full. However, none of this happened so far. I am a happy customer. Highly reccomend this bags.

For being environmentally friendly, they are really durable
I did not expect them to hold up as well as they do! I use them to poop scoop after my two dogs and they can hold quite a bit of waste. Even after leaving a full bag in rain for a day it still held up!

Great for scooping litter boxes!
These are great! I use them to scoop my cats' litter boxes. I feel better about using a compostable material over plastic shopping bags. Terrific product.

Strong, stretchable
I like the quality of these bags: feels soft, but strong, and slightly stretchable in case of overload. Good choice for those who cares and wants to contribute to the health of Earth.
