Well made, and well designed! It was nicely finished and the black paint seems very thick and smooth. Can insert it and pin it on both sizes with one lock, it simply worked with no hassles. The adapter works well for converting my 1.25 inch bicycle rack to the 2 inch hitch mount on my car. When my bike rack is folded up, it clears my spare tire perfectly. Couldn't been more happy!Although it has a little bit rattle, but i suspect that there are standards, and that that bike racks are purposely made a bit small, so that you don't run into a situation where you can't shove the thing into a receiver if it gets a little dirty or rusty. I just used the Towever 84701 no-rattle clamp to secure it no wobble, and it seems solid.I will recommend this to my friends.

Good fit but long
Fits perfect. Only complaint is it sticks out a lot. This is good if you want to get intrunk, but poses a problem when parking in a lot.

nice adapter if the extra length is OK for your needs
The hitch adapter is well made and I like it. It will add a few inches of distance between the vehicle and whatever is connected to it. That can be good for a bike rack because you may have enough room to open the rear hatch to get to your gear. Other folks might prefer less distance between the vehicle and whatever is connected to the hitch.

Almost perfect...
Fits well on my Curt hitch with Nashbar Rack with a little play. But the 1-1/4 insert is not complete on the inside so I needed to make an aluminum insert to fill that space. With the bolt tightened the racks feels very firm with only a little play up and down, but not side to side. Didn't need to cut it, because the Nashbar Rack is sufficient long.

No Pin. weird....
I was very surprised that it didn't come with a pin. I've bought numerous hitches over the years and they always came with pins, I was rather surprised that I now have to go back and buy a pin for it. no biggie, just surprising.

Use this to adapt to our 2 bike rack with smaller insert. Very sturdy, rack doesn’t move.
