Amazing!
My little brother is amazing at folding origami dragons. This kid doesn’t even need instructions. But you see the problem is I was the one who got him interested in origami first so I didn’t think it was fair for him to better at it that me. I bought this books with the hopes of upstaging his dragon folding abilities. It has yet to happen but with this book in one hand and paper in the other I am determined i will end up being the superior dragon folding sibling.^this is complete satire written by the little brother in question. Regardless a very cool book.

But this book seems to be getting too much bad rap, so here's my take on it
I rarely write reviews. Actually, I believe this is my very first one on Amazon. But this book seems to be getting too much bad rap, so here's my take on it...If you are into origami because you have an inquisitive mind, love puzzles and are up for a challenge this book is for you. Otherwise, it's not.The book is quite small, it has only 6 diagrams. The intermediate vs advanced labels don't mean anything. Some diagrams have mistakes, but it's easy to figure them out. Some of them have 1 or 2 steps that don't make any sense, but that's also easy to figure out. And, for some steps, you'll have to figure out what you need to do by looking a few steps ahead, to where you're trying to get to (for example, at step 32 for the Sea Serpent you need to apply the folds to each side individually, not together). All this takes time, but that comes with the territory. If you're ok with all that, get it. You'll get more than 6 awesome dragons because you'll learn how to make variations. I took the head and tail from the Serpent, added eyes from a Montroll diagram, modified a heron and voila, I had a new dragon (see pic). I took the head from the Serpent, modified both Flapping ones and voila, had 2 new dragons. You get the gist.

Set your money on fire instead. You'll waste it a lot faster that way.
While there are a couple of great models in this tiny book, the laughably bad and inadequate diagrams make it a waste of your money.Seriously, the diagrams are bad. In Stamm's Dragon (#18) there's a couple of steps where the diagrams are just flat out incorrect. If you look ahead a few steps you can see what you are supposed to accomplish, but it doesn't match the diagrams in the previous steps at all. And in the steps for JuliAnn's Dragon, there are some complicated folds that are just glossed over, and one sink fold that is missing a callout...a callout that is shown in the same step/fold for Natasha's Flapping Dragon. What garbage. If they author can't bother to proof-read and edit his own work, then why should you pay for it?The author goes on in the introduction about their drafting and cartography experience. That experience does not show through here.

Good book for a gift, small and not diuicult to understand for a beginner.
Purchased for a gift, she already has this so I'll be returning it. Other than that it looks like a good book for a beginner.

Instructions can be difficult to follow. Real pictures of the folds accompanying the instructional illustrations and origami notations would help over illustrated diagrams alone. The artist explains making it a goal to do the instructions without words and only through the diagrams, however, the right written instructions could still be helpful here. The actual pictures/completed origami dragons from the artist are remarkable to look at.

No Instructions
This book is definitely intermediate or higher. But the terrible thing is that the pictures do not come with instructions. You have to interpret the different arrow symbols, which don't actually give much detail. And I AM an intermediate folder. I can follow along, but actual instructions would be so helpful as opposed to going back to the beginning to figure out what each symbol means.I love these dragons, but this book is not worth it.

COOL
This book is full of amazing little oragami dragons that are really fun. I made one myself, it was a kinda hard, but I managed to do it with a little help from Dad.:)

Original designs and the Golden Ratio!
What a treat to see these designs laid out so well then the explanation of the application of the Golden Mean. Should be mandatory in all schools.

Garbage
Don't waste your money. Only a handful of models were presented... all western style dragons. I should return this garbage.
