they are a little difficult to use, and if you aren't skilled enough it doesnt look as blended as i wish, but practices make perfect. they are great to write kanji or chinese caracters. Good for the price.

Dry tips/ no ink
Half of the pens were bone dry right out of the box. I was really excited about these, and expected more for the price. If they weren’t dry they would have been perfect.

Daughter loves them, but thinks they ran out right ...
These barely worked and she was so excited. It was for her birthday and I am very disappointed for her! I hope the company will make it right or I'm contacting Amazon. I watched a video of these type on you tube and they definitely were defective and didn't work as they were supposed to. :(MY UPDATE.

Awesome product
Product is amazing because I started Japanese journaling and it takes me to another level of motivating myself while still being creative. I highly recommend trying these and explore new way of creation.

DRYED OUT
I was super excited when I got these pens, but when I opened and used the first pen, I found that the ink was very dry and streaky. Do not recommend for people who want to use for calligraphy!
