Encourage a wealth of stunning birds into your garden with this stainless steel sunflower bird seed feeder. Constructed from polished steel, the hanging feeder features diamond mesh and is perfect for holding sunflower seeds. Sunflower hearts have the highest calorie to weight ratio and contain a high level of protein and essential oils, great for giving wild birds their essential daily energy boost. They are quick and easy for birds to eat and leave very little debris behind; meaning less worry about unwanted pests such as mice and squirrels. All of this means that a large variety of wild birds love them and you’re practically guaranteed to see birds such as green finches, thrushes, siskins and even goldfinches visiting your garden. This bird feeder features an easy to fill, lift-off, domed lid to keep the contents dry. Simply fill, hang on a branch or feeding station with the convenient, built-in handle and keep the beautiful birds chirping. Specification Dimensions: W10 x L7.2 x H24cm Weight: 0.16kg

Pigeons love this!
Totally useless for using with sunflower hearts. I filled it up and within a few hours it was completely empty due to the seeds falling through the overlarge mesh. Consequently the local pigeon population had a feast.Total waste of money as I won’t use peanuts as an alternative because they go mouldy too quickly.Thankfully it was cheap enough to bin it.

Feeder for sunflower hearts
This bird feeder arrived very quickly. It is for sunflower hearts but the holes are a little bit big and some hearts fall out but not many.It seems to be strong and the squirrels which come have not managed to chew through the wire mesh yet. I am pleased with this product so far.

Sharp Exterior
It's what I was looking for, but unfortunately before I could use it I had to file down the exterior to get rid of sharp edges, otherwise lots of wee birds would have sore feet!

Don't buy this if your expecting a quality stainless sunflower heart feeder
I purchased this feeder because Happy Beaks claim it is stainless - I have my doubts - I understand that some stainless is magnetic and a magnet will attract to this freely but it looks more like galvanised to me. This is also described a sunflower heart feeder but the mesh is too large so the seeds freely fall out - the full feeder was empty after 8 hours ! When I spoke to Andrew at Happy beaks he told me that stainless will rust but will not stain! and that some stainless cutlery will also rust !! He also told me that the mesh has to be bigger than the seed otherwise the birds can't get them out! He then went on to tell me that he doesn't have any bird feeders at home They may have some other great products on offer but their customer service attitude to a miss sold feeder has ensured that I wont ever use Happy Beaks again.
