Hopefully it tastes as good in cookies as it does out of the bottle. If not, I'll just use it in my coffee!

**Q: What is the shelf life of this product?  Does it need to be refrigerated?**
A: When I was a kid in England (50s/60s) we always had a can in the pantry.  Still do here in Kansas.  It kept/keeps for years.  If really old it would crystalize but it would never be inedible.  Anyway you need to be careful with dates on British foods, they are 'best before' not expiration.

**Q: I bought the 6 pack, but the ingredient list says: partially inverted refiners syrup. what is that? is it not cane sugar syrup,like the single bottle?**
A: Google it for an answer. You 'll find more than you need about it.

**Q: what is different from heating up sugar in water like you do to make drinks?**
A: This syrup is a result of glucose - fructose syrup being split by adding an acid. The resulting syrup has a toasted flavor perfect for pancakes, waffles, ice cream, and making pecan pie.

**Q: Is this the same golden syrup used in the uk and ireland on pancakes?**

Wow! I ordered this syrup because I saw it used by a British content creator. This product doesn't exist in the US, so I'd never seen or heard of it before. Wow this is good. It is great in recipes like Treacle Pudding, or other recipes from Britain or Europe. The big jug means I don't have to buy it very often, and I can jar some up for my kids to use. This is just the ticket to put on pancakes or waffles, especially if you are allergic to maple like my daughter-in-law. I have been known to drizzle some on buttered toast when I run out of honey, too. This is a really great product all around. It arrived wrapped in bubble wrap inside a heavy box, and not one single drop leaked or spilled.
