At first I struggled to understand the 'leg-ejection' feature, but you just have to make sure that the legs are pushed all the way in for the effect to work. IE, if you can see the spring it isn't all the way in. I returned one for a replacement which behaved the same way as the first, leading me to the eventual discovery that I was the problem. I'll be keeping both, and of course paying for both, as this is fairest thing I can do for the company, who graciously paid return shipping on the one that I thought was defective. I have another rifle that could use a Bipod as well, so great. Now its not going to be as durable as duty grade stuff, this bipod is not 'Just as Good'. But it is good enough to do what the average person wants/needs. It is lightweight, functions well in its intended use, the bipod has good adjustability and good stability, mounting and installation were not difficult either. I gave it five stars because it is excellent FOR THE PRICE POINT. There is better out there, but this is great value for the money spent.
