I bought these to replace the years-old padding and foam for my HD 25-1 II (the vinyl was peeling off, the foam fell apart like a moth ate through it). The cups go on very easily and are very nicely made. Sound quality is practically the same as the original pads. I am very satisfied.There are two things to note:1. Unlike genuine Sennseiser pads, the inner foam is directly sewn onto the ear pads. This makes installation slightly easier, but I know there are some people who prefer not to have that extra layer of foam in there. Also be careful not to tear this while installing.2. The sleeves are very large compared to the original HD 25-1 II pads. Fully unrolled they will cover the connector port for the headphone cable, so most likely the sleeves will remain rolled up after installation. This makes the cans look kind of round and mushy, but the sound is unaffected.
