A Lovely Slipper
I am really happy with these, and feel they lend me a rather raffish 'devil may care' look. In fact, when showing them off at a recent gathering I could see that several ladies were more interested in me than usual. I could not progress matters unfortunately, as my wife was present.Being Dunlop the grip and cornering (when swerving past the vicar during afternoon tea) are unequalled.Colour is a personal choice. In my case green velour is kept for conservatory activities, red is for all downstairs rooms (including hallway, but NOT for kitchen of course). For upstairs I favour the darker nocturnal colours, they are fairly inconspicuous and allow lovemaking to be accomplished without their removal (most positions). So, whether you are attending the ambasadors ball, or nipping down to Asda in the rain for your fags they'll do you proud. No wonder Dunlop have retained the Golden Slipper award for seven years running!

AN HONEST REVIEW
EDITTED REVIEW DOWN FROM 4 STARS TO 1 STARS HERES WHY....Originally gave these slippers 4 stars. The quality of them seemed pretty good and no cheap materials were visible. Admittedly I'm quite fussy with slippers...and my only issues with them were I thought the sole could do with more padding and the back support had a tendency to fold under your foot quite easily when putting them on.However after a month and a half of use I'm disgusted with how badly these slippers have been made. Alarm bells started to ring when after 2 weeks I had to super glue the material back to the rubber sole on BOTH slippers.Shortly after that the material inner sole started to come away from the foam and left bare foam inside the slippers which then disintegrated and ruined a perfectly good pair of socks....out come the super glue again. Finally the rubber sole split and the "cushioning" was visible. This turned out to be a piece of cardboard and a thin piece of foam that looked more suitable for packaging breakables than being used in footwear. Not an exaggeration these are the worst slippers I've ever bought I my life. They are in the bin now but wish I'd kept to share pictures of how bad they are. I would suspect many of the 4/5 star reviews have had the same issues but havent been bothered to edit their reviews. They are that bad I've been compelled to edit mine and warn potential buyers. After a month and a half of indoor use to be in this kind of state is shocking and I would most definitely avoid.Hope this Helps

Disappointing quality for a big brand
I was initially quite pleased with these - they looked good, were the right size, and were nice and comfy. Unfortunately after only a couple of weeks of wear, the rubber at the front started peeling away from the fabric, and after about four months the glue that attaches the insole started to break down, meaning the insole started slipping around and my feet started sticking to the glue underneath, making them unwearable. I wouldn't have been overly surprised if this had been a cheap unbranded pair, but Dunlop is supposedly a good make, and I'd hoped to get at least a couple of years' worth of wear out of them. Given how poor these are, I suspect Dunlop have outsourced their manufacture to a cheap supplier that doesn't have the same quality control. Not recommended.

Slightly on the small size
These are good looking, but very slightly on the small size - not something that I normally have a problem with! My guess is that they come up to around 9 1/2 instead of the size 10 that I always buy. In fact, I went out in them on one occasion because they felt as though I had my normal outdoor shoes on, which were slightly softer and more comfortable than the slippers! I'm sure they will gradually stretch enough to become comfortable so that I recognise them as slippers! They appear well made and smart in appearance.

They'll zap you, then fall apart
Started to disintegrate after six months. A year after purchase, and they're being consigned to the bin.And take care: before they wear out, the soles are VERY efficient insulators - which means that if you touch anything that's earthed after walking about in them, you stand a good chance of generating a spark that's audible, visible, and frequently painful. Seeing an arc about a centimetre long jump across from my fingertip to my microwave's control panel was definitely *not* the sort of unique selling point that I was looking for...

Avoid like the plague
I was initially pleased with these slippers. However it wasn't long before they started to fall apart. First the uppers started to come away from the sole, followed by the insoles becoming unstuck. Finally the soles (which wore rapidly) came apart from the uppers at the heal all within a few short months. Normally I can expect up to 18 months wear out of a pair of slippers. These are a very bad joke!

Not quite as good as the price.
Paid a bit extra to get good quality slippers having been reminded of the old adage "a poor man cannot afford to buy cheap goods!" These slippers are warm and comfortable but the first time I wore them without socks one of the very thin insoles curled up and came out: either it panicked at coming into direct contact with my feet, or it was not stuck down properly... I suspect the latter. Now one of the soles is starting to come off so I'm off to Screwfix to buy some glue! Now I have a new adage: "you don't always get what you pay for..."

Quite comfortable
I purchased these as it was time get some new slippers. Previously I had only bought slippers from a leading high street shoe company as they had been perfect. But during the virus trouble the shop wasn't open so I looked for an alternative from Amazon. These I decided on and arrived on time ok. However, they didn't at first match the slippers from my previous ones for comfort. After a period of perseverance they became more comfortable and are still inuse now. However, although these are OK I still prefer the previous ones from my high street supplier.
