4,114 Definitions from the Defined King James Bible Paperback – September 1, 2003

This book only has so many words and it’s definitely useful to trying to better understand gods word! But there are still some words and people and places missing that it definitely could use. But I ain’t going to knock it because it is a small book and you can’t expect it to habe EVERYTHING in it

I keep several of these dictionaries around to use myself and to give to others. It is a great help to use with your favorite King James Bible. If you do not want to carry around another book with your King James Bible, then you can get a bible with the dictionary built in. I know of two KJV Bibles that have a built in dictionary (not just a concordance); The  The Defined King James Version  and the Classic Reference Bible by the Trinitarian Bible Society.The Defined King James Bible is where these definitions were first published before being extracted into a separate book. I highly recommend all three: the 4,114 Definitions Dictionary, the Defined King James Bible, and the Trinitarian Bible Society's Classic Edition bible.

I'm finding it to be skimpy it doesn't tell me as much information as I need for most projects so it's not a fast way to get concordance information. The more I think about it I think I gave it more stars than it deserved I bought it to be a shortcut. It's not working out that way.

Very good for a concise KJV dictionary, however some of the definitions are really just a list of synonyms. You'd be better off buying a Websters dictionary and a Strongs concordance. But it still helps so I give it 4 stars.

I like to read the kjv but often need a handy dictionary. I like it because mostly all the words i need to look up is there . I dont like a bible dictionary that is too detailed, long and boring in giving the meaning. This one is simple and concise enough that i can grasp the meaning of the word easily. The book is thin and not bulky to carry around.

After much thought and consideration, I made the decision to switch back to reading/studying from KJV bible full time, and getting away from the modern translations . I sometimes get stumped trying to understand the King's English. This booklet is a perfect companion to a KJV while doing bible study. Small and thin enough to carry around with your bible.

Don't let some of the archaic language keep you from reading the most beautiful and inspired version of the Bible!This little dictionary is just the right size to slip in your Bible cover (assuming you have one) and is an excellent go-to if you use the KJV without study notes. The definitions are clear and concise. I've purchased several and other people seeing them, have "borrowed" them because they've found them to be so handy.

The content is 4 stars! The reason for the 3 star rating is because the book arrived somewhat mangaled bent and has creases in multiple directions. I bought it as a new book and it looks like it has been used.

Many words in bible missing

This is good for someone who wants to know what the Bible says and doesn't settle for the washed down modern English translations.

Perfect size and very convenient & easy to use. Everyone should have one. Great for children too.

It is light and very handy to carry with my Bible. The print is also large enough.
