Works great - I hooked it up to my portable aircon which uses about 500w and use it dehumidify my basement. It switches on and off on its own and saved me needing to buy an additional humidifier. Was easy to program, but took a few days to get the levels optimal. Seemed accurate relate to another humidity device (digital) I use.

Perfect. I purchased this to maintain humidity in a my black soldier fly room. It works great. It is a little difficult to set at first but once you get it where you need it you are done. The sensor cord very long which is a huge plus. Over all I am very happy with this product and would recommend it.

My very old dehumidifier in the basement has worked for many years to keep the dampness out. This year while cleaning I touched the humidistat and the material that controls it failed. Now my humidifier would run all the time. I found this control. It is accurate and gives complete control. Just be sure to read the directions first. In the past the control on the dehumidifier was hit or miss. Now I can control very accurately.

This humidistat is a real bear to configure, but once done, it works just as described. I want it to come on when the humidity gets too high and go off when the humidity drops back down. I set it to dehumidifier (HC=C). Then the high limit or boundary is the humidity point at which the device turns *on* the power outlet. I set it to Hb=48. The low boundary is the point at which it turns *off*. I set it to Lb=45. Counter-intuitive but once configured it does work nicely. It turns on the outlet when the humidity goes above 48% and turns it off when the humidity drops below 45%. And the warning alert beep can be turned off easily. All in all it does just what I want. I'd give it a 5 star rating but it's too hard to initially figure out. I'd love to rewrite the user manual for the company.

This product works well enough from what I can tell. I use it to turn on a cool mist humidifier for my reptile terrarium. I would recommend something like this if you want to keep a constant higher or lower humidity. The only thing I think that could make this better is to have a Velcro attachment on the sensor to stick to the tank.

so far this is great for keeping my fogger for my ball python habitat between 60-75 percent humidty.. however it lasted 3 weeks before power never shut off when humidity reached its high level.. returned ....

I use this in a smaller indoor green house for growing carnivorous plants and a couple types of Mushrooms where I have to keep the humidity up in the 94 to 98 range. After 10 days it only reads 100% humidity constantly and continues to beep. Almost like it's stuck there. I've let it sit out and dry but it's only a matter of time before it does it again. AAahhhh.. and I hate that you can't turn the alarm off, it drives me crazy and causes me to have to unplug it. Maybe there's better out there, maybe it'll work better for you. Don't have high expectations.

So far I'm loving this controller to control humidification in a 4x4. I have a Vicks humidifier hooked up to it set on low. Setup was easy with the included manual and without it would be fairly straight forward. I have the sensor hanging in the middle of the space and have adjusted the calibration (CA) a few times for the reading to match my Accurite humidity meter. Now everything is staying right where I need it. I'd recommend this for anyone looking for an affordable controller.

This item is very easy to use. It is a model where you either use a dehumidifier OR a humidifier and not both. Easy to program and a nice buy... just what I wanted to set a humidity range and use a humidifier.

Control the humidity in a cheese curing room

Worked well for a few days. Now it's permanently stuck between 90% and 100%.

Works just as promised and came with perfect directions to set it up. Update. after 3 months in use the sensor seems to be broken now. to many spikes in humidity compared to my other unit. past the 30 days on amazon and cant exchange it. not a happy customer
