bird scarer tape
bought this to deter pigeons from eating the peas at the allotment!! Tried it in the garden and the regular pigeon who visits us was extremely wary of it and startled when the wind caught it - it left rather suddenly - hope it works as well at the allotment!!! A good quality product which was well packaged and delivered quickly. Will definitely use this seller again if they have goods we are looking for. Well done.

This is excellent. Lots of it
This is excellent. Lots of it, tough enough for outside use. easy to cut . I made little 'sandcastle' like flags with it and cut lots of slits in the flags. It has held together 100% in a lot of rain & wind in the last few days. I think the Chard is now safe!

Seabird Deterrent
Dangling a few strips from the clothes lines overnight and has kept the seagulls from visiting and leaving their guano on our patio. Seems to work well and there's no running costs.

Keeps the birds away but it would be nice if a product was developed to deter the bats ...

Simle, Yet Effective Reflective!
I am reviewing the MAIYU 350 feet x 2 inches Double Side Bird Repellent Scare Tape (Diamond).Sold by Maiyu TechFulfilled by Amazon. Here are my thoughts:^^ Shiny, metallic looking foil ribbon that is 350 feet long x 2 inches wide, and used to keep birds away from your young crops or plants with berries.^^ Easy to use, just tie on nearby, or on your actual bush.^^ There's a lot of it!^^ Kind to the birds, in that they are not harmed in any way.^^ I've taken photos, although, my plants are not really in full swing yet and need some better British weather!Overall:It seems wrong to me to scare the birds off, when I always make a concerted effort to attract the birds into my garden, but my fruit bearing plants are always eaten by the birds. So I moved them closer to the house and added these, hoping I won't scare all the birds away - just those who try to come and eat my berries on my patio. I have other plants further into the garden the birds are welcome to! So far its worked and they haven't abandoned my garden totally!Disclosure:I was supplied a free or discounted sample for test and evaluation purposes in return for my honest and unbiased opinion. It is my hope that my views, whether positive or negative, will help other potential buyers make up their own minds. Thank you for reading.
