Great alternative to full cable replacement
Product was difficult to install and only lasted a few weeks before falling apart. Ended up replacing with OEM cables. Person that recommended them to me has been using them for over a year so it may have been my fault while installing them. 5 star only because the seller was great and issued a full refund when I reached out to them.

DO NOT BUY - 1 year lifespan. Left me Stranded... Twice.
These are terrible quality. They do not last. They will fail, leaving you stranded, unable to shift your car into any gear. I replaced the factory shift bushing in July 2024 as they had worn out. Shifting was sloppy, return to center wasn't really a thing anymore after 12 years and about 90,000 miles. I found this replacement kit discussed on several Abarth forums so I went with it. They were easy to install and shift feel was great. One year later, almost to the day, in July 2025 the smaller bushing failed, leaving the shift cable unattached to the left-right ball. I was unable to drive the car and had to be towed home. While waiting several hours for the tow truck I ordered another set of these bushings and installed them a couple days later. Fast forward one more year, to July 2026 and it failed in the exact same way, complete with another long wait for a tow truck. If you're looking to replace the factory shift bushings on your Fiat, go with the stainless ball sockets with clips from McMaster Carr instead. Part numbers 9424K23 for the smaller 10mm ball and 9424K52 for the larger 13mm ball. Those are cheap, easy to install, and should last forever. The 2nd picture in my review is of these installed.

Works.
Works great. But only works for a short time. I think because the material gets hot and worn easily. But still works for a quick fix.

Broke in 24 hours
My 500 Abarth shifter was getting sloppy so I tried this kit. I only used the side to side bushing. Within hours of the install, the shifter wouldn't center itself anymore & on my way home the next day I lost shifting capabilities. I had Amazon send me a replacement. Maybe I did something wrong? Taking the car apart again I found the bushing shattered. Carefully read the directions & watched the video on their website & definitely installed the 2nd 1 correctly. I had smooth shifting with a nice spring back to center for about 6 miles. I only went to get gas! It started not springing back to center & on my way back home I lost side to side again. I will be sending the 2nd back for a full refund & buying new cables & be done. I wasted about an hour + in installation time. I don't recommend wasting your time.

Doesn't Fit On 2012 Mini Clubman Manual Transmission
Product was good but just didn't fit my 2012 Mini Cooper S Clubman, manual transmission.

Quick fix for Mini Cooper
This is a cheap and quick fix for Mini coopers with sudden loss of shifting. The real problem is with the shifter itself and the problem will probably happen again unless you pony up the money to replace it. My total repair was about $100.00.

Stay away from this product!
Definitely not a good product. After installing the bushings one of the bushing failed on the first ride after install. Completely fell apart and left me stranded! Had to get a tow back home. Huge loss!! I wouldn’t trust this product at all. I read in reviews that others have had similar problems but I figured some people are just negative, this is not the case with this product. I would say pass on buying this item.

Great idea, but didn't last for me
Only lasted a few hundred miles before it split in half, so I lost ability to shift. Luckily I was close to home, and was able to get home stuck in 3rd gear. The supplied tools made it pretty simple to install, but not sure why it split in half. I did use a small vise to install it, and it was a very tight fit. It was within the return period, so no issue getting a refund. Based on problem, I didn't trust trying another bushing, so I bought a full new cable. Replacing just the bushing is WAY easier that changing out the entire cable, so its a shame it didn't last. As a note, this was installed on a 2011 Mini Cooper Countryman S. Also, because this bushing is much thicker than the stock bushing, the stock security clips don't fit around it.

Terrible reliability
I would give 0 stars if I could, this product is NOT worth buying. U bought this for my 2012 mini cooper and it worked fine for about a week then the bushing split in two so I ordered another kit and I had gotten more out of it but the same bushing split again and left me stranded in an intersection and I had to push the car to the nearest parking lot. I recommend finding oem or a strong aluminum aftermarket bushing and not this crap

Good Quallity and Right Price, makes the fix cheap!
Really good price for the fix it does. Had to struggle a bit to get it in where it was needed, but was worth in the end. Been running it for more 3 weeks. It is still holding up good. So is a good purchase in my opinion.

Terribly unreliable product…
Tried to give this product a chance not once, but twice. First time lasted about 2 weeks before the bushing popped off and left me stranded in a parking lot during a family dinner. Ordered a replacement kit - this time it didn’t even last a week before the bushing crumbled into pieces and left the car stuck in the middle of the intersection. Do not waste your time with these temporary solutions. Ended up ordering metal gas spring end fittings with ball sockets and clips instead.
