Such as out of the autoclave.** A: Im not sure how hot autoclaves get, ive only used these gloves for extreme colds, which they work outstanding with. Im my opinion i would think these gloves would work with hot items, the material INSIDE of the glove seem to be the same as a oven mitt. Dont think youd be able to handle hot items very long. I would be worried that the material on the OUTSIDE of the glove wouldnt be able to handle extremely hot items. The material on the outside is like a winter snow glove and not at all water proof. **Q: Would these gloves be good to use in a freezer at -20 degrees all day?** A: Yes you would can use...but is best the freezer dayly gloves use.... **Q: What is the max temperature that these gloves can handle?** A: I deliver nitrogen to commercial accounts. I use the gloves to handle my transfer hose. My hose gets around -160 to -190 degrees and I can handle it without feeling a bit of cold. These gloves are not waterproof and when they get wet their worthless. Hope this helps **Q: Can these be laundered?** A: Possibly. They are not water proof as it says and my got wet completely and dried just fine.
