It's a Beast!!!
WOW! You do need to have jar & lid dry & You MUST hang onto jar while the thing is working & allow room for it & the lid to fly off!!That thing would have flipped the jar, contents, itself & lid all over the house had I not had a good 2 handed grip on the bottle!!It was struggling & down shifting & I was sure it would give up. NO IT DIDN'T!!When that lid finally gave up - like I said, had I not had a 2 fisted tight grip on the bottle & held tight, there would have been probably broken glass & food everywhere as the jar would have flown across the room!!I am too weak to open my own jars at a young 70 but this thing will keep me independent for a long time to come!WOW! It is a Beast! If some how it doesn't perform like that for You - send it back cuz You got a lemon!!

Very handy
I am very happy with this jar opener !I don’t have to hurt my hands or wrists any more with this handy tool.I bought a few extras for gifts, and the ladies are very happy !

As I am getting older, my hand and finger strength has been declining, making it difficult to open jars. I was pleasantly surprised to see how well this worked. I was unable to open a pickle jar even after banging the lid on the counter and running it under hot water so I decided to try this. I did not position it properly the firs time so it popped off of the jar. I was more careful on the second try and It worked! It opened the unopenable jar. I've been impressing my friends by opening more jars that would not budge.

AWESOME JAR OPENER AND A MUST HAVE!!!
As sometimes these vacuum packed pickled jars, etc. are so hard to open and my husband has even had to resort to using plyers to get it open I purchased this gem of a tool that is designed to do the hard work! You just pop it on the lid, press the button and it adjusts itself to the jar and then uses torque to open the jar! A must have and especially a nice gift for the elderly in your life!

So easy to use and it works.
I used it on a jar I could not open trying many other openers. It always scares me when it “pops” the jar open. My mom has one also and now she can open everything without waiting for me to come over.
