An auxiliary magnet was added to the centre of the SP3 to improve the strength of the magnetic field and reach a 1.2T magnetic flux. It is thanks to this important driving power that the SP3 manages to provide such a dynamic sound. Moreover, this particular structure allows a certain reduction of the non-linear distortion on the whole frequency band.
- Silk Tweeter for Unparalleled Treble Resolution - In an active desktop speaker, the tweeter usually plays a crucial role in reproducing fine sound details, which is why FiiO’s SP3, unlike many other active models, uses a 1" tweeter capable of reproducing frequencies up to 35kHz. The copper-plated aluminium KSV voice coil allows for accurate and clean reproduction of high frequencies, even when listening off-axis.
