A year later I would have to say by far the best battery powered toy truck for its price. Have not had to replace the factory battery and still runs a good couple hours in a charge. And my son has not taken it easy on that truck. It’s been through snow, rain, and every mud puddle that could be found. And the parent control brilliant and works to the T. Only minor issue is a pop rivet in the front steering the keeps breaking but I invested in a pop rivet gun. My kid loves this thanks!!!

Do not purchase this ride on! My kids had so much fun for about 2 weeks on this. It’s a nice size and easy to put together. But it has completely stopped being functional. It turns on by itself out of the blue. When we push power it then doesn’t turn off. Then later when we want to use it it doesn’t even turn on. The bluetooth is hard to connect and stay connected, and the buttons get jammed. It’s also super easy for the driver to override the remote control. All they have to do is just drive basically. So youll be fighting against the driver over control. It jerks when you let go of the gas. The reverse is very slow. The foot support part where you step on it to get into the car falls off. Despite being put together with a powerdrill. The design for the foot support part just wasn’t thought through. When it stopped working I ordered a new charger to try that but same thing. So now going to have to replace the battery and hope that solves it. But honestly if it’s turning on bt itself it has to be a wiring issue. Which wouldn’t be an an error on our end because the wiring issue already pre-done. You just connect the battery and that’s it. Our kids are so disappointed.

The instructions that come inside, the box are definitely useless. Thankfully, they have a video on Amazon here that you can watch. But, I’d say if you are familiar with putting together a ride on, they are all probably similar - or at least two different kinds I’ve bought are. Assembled it and charged it 12 hours until green on the power cord. Battery holds well. It can go up the medium sized grass hills near by us that I take my two kids up. I have noticed that after being on it a while (like 20 or 30 minutes) the remote does seem to not steer as well. But I usually stop it and use the turn buttons and then go again. It’s happened a couple times I’ve been out in the cold (30 degree) weather. Overall, I’d recommend!

I can’t wait for my son to ride this in the summer time! Looks like it goes really fast!

This ride stopped working and the battery wouldn’t work . My husband was so upset he threw in the trash

Powerful and fun. It is difficult to turn, though i think that may be because of the servo for the remote steering. Once my son is comfortable i may remove it and see. I added an led light to the front so he can drive at night, and the wiring was readly available for it.

This came slightly damaged some dents and scratches. The battery was shipped inside where you'd find it typically located, however the clamps that hold it in place are not strong enough to keep it in place. Due to this the battery was tossed around and cause a pretty heavy dent in the side of the hood. Some other very minor scratches. The instructions are probably the worst thing about it.... very vague instructions and the photos are some small and smushed together that you can't really tell what you're looking at. After about an hour of struggling and removing things we thought we had in the right spot, decided to check if there were video instructions on Amazon, and thankfully there was. Definitely follow the video. It charged up well and had about an hour of play before the end of the day and didnt seem like it was dying at all. However the reverse speed is incredibly slow and the turning radius isnt really the best either. The controller kinda works when it wants to, and sometimes its easier to shut everything off and start over rather than waiting for the remote to figure it out. It is extremely heavy and has a metal frame, so I imagine it can handle a few trees. I was also missing one singular screw, which typically you're provided with a few extra. I dont really think its worth the amount I paid for it, and believe there is something else out there that would work a little bit better as far as the handling goes.
