I used this when I rewired my MGB so I could have a single disconnect for my dashboard. There are no instructions provided but it should be easy to figure out:- Slide the wire seal onto the wire, with the skinny end facing the end of the wire- Strip the insulation off the wire, you only need about 1/4" to 3/16"- Slide the seal down to the edge of the insulation, so only the bare wire shows- Use a pair of crimpers to crimp the terminal onto the wire- Use the crimpers to crimp the terminal to the seal- Load the terminals into the connectorIt's important to use the right crimper or you'll have to re-do your work. Search for "Weather Pack" crimper. I paid about $15 for a pair with orange handles and it worked perfectly.

I bought this for a stereo install. Most of the wires on the stereo were probably 22 gage. The power and ground were 16 gage. I had no issues with crimping with an IWISS crimping tool.I think the 22 gage is the small limit for this set. They crimped fine but I don't know that I would trust the waterproofness under the vehicle on the small gage wire. But my application was under dash so no worries. I think 16-18 gage is the sweet spot for this set.Every pin gave a nice click on insertion and a solid tug on the wires resulted in no pins pulling out.Highly recommend especially for 16-18 gage and down to 22 gage if waterproofness is not a requirement.

the connectors are easy to use provided you are used to making these types of connectors and you have the correct crimper. I have made connectors for years and these worked great I only gave it 3 stars because they do not say which crimper they need.

Excellent connector. Need the crimp tool otherwise you will end up with problems. I would without a doubt but again. Excellent product. Great price.

The flat pins make it difficult to assemble

Connectors work great. Easy to assemble, if you are already familiar with similar style connectors. There are no instructions, so these would be difficult for a beginner. You need to have an appropriate crimp tool for these pins! Pro Tip: slide the little rubber boot all the way to the end of the wire and over your crimp, then insert it into the connector housing. It will seat itself nice and pretty. If you try to shove the wire into the connector and then slide the rubber boot into place, it won't work very well. Also make sure you look closely at the pins and the retainer in the housing to ensure you have a firm understanding of which direction they go in, and what locks them in. Piece of cake.

Plastic parts are OK. The pins are made of very thin metal. They bend when you plug the to connectors together. Will not buy again.

Plan on only using two if you have never used this type of connector.
