This is the perfect bedside lamp for me. Just the right size (very small), gives out enough light to read but isn’t over stimulating. I’ve seen reviewers call this “cute” and I suppose you could call it that because of its size. But the base is black and the shade has vertical geometric patterns of light grey and light goldenrod. Almost like the folds in a curtain. So by color and design I’d say it’s a fairly masculine object. I bought the bulbs at the same time I got the lamp so that was a non-issue. My only quibble is the pull chain - its movement isn’t real smooth and I wonder if it might fail at some point. However I’ve had this lamp for 3 months and all is well.Overall this is a great value for the money. I’d buy another in a heartbeat.EDITI moved this lamp about 10’ from one side of the bedroom to the other and noticed the shade unraveling. It’s not a big deal but I still haven’t figured out how to fix it.

I am really picky when it comes to lamps. I was looking for one for my work desk at home and one for the office room desk. I wanted something that would look great on the desk and throw a lot of light. WOW! This lamp is built so well, that I ordered two more. It has a fixing ring that holds the lampshade in place which is something I never knew could be done. I can't stand when a lamp shade tilts when you don't want it to. I looks great and the pull chain makes it look quite stylish! If you want a really great lamp with excellent quality - this is it. You can even put a 60watt bulb in it or less. I use 40 and it is very bright for what I need.

I love this little lamp! Ive had it for probably 3 years now, and it's very bright and super cute! I gave it 4 stars only because the Cristal on the cord broke the first time I used it. But other than that, its a great lamp!

I absolutely love these small lamps. I originally purchased one for on my night stand and fell so in love that I repurchased two more and now have them on both sides of my bed and in my spare room. They are a great size for a nightstand, small table, or desk. They gives off enough lite and do not take up much space. They are great quality.

I have had this lamp for a couple of years now. It has stood the test of time. Very dependable and sturdy.

I love this little lamp by my bedside. It lights up the whole room, and the pull cord is so handy at night time. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the shade, which is some kind of plastic, like a thin plastic tablecloth. But the light was inexpensive and I didn't expect it to be any more than it is.

When I received this lamp, I loved it so much that I ordered another. It is just the right size for a small side table. If I had written the review before ordering the second lamp, it would have been 5 stars. However when I received the second lamp, I was disappointed that it didn’t look nearly as nice as the first one. The felt base looked like it had been roughed up and was pilled, and whoever glued it on the lamp got the glue all over the electrical cord. It took me over a half hour to scrape it all off. Obviously, quality control is an issue. I do like the style of the lamp and love the pull cord on the switch, and the crystal is a nice touch but be prepared that you may or may not receive a nicely made product.

This is a super cute little lamp, even elegant looking, unfortunately, the little crystal broke off straight away. Still a nice lamp, but the crystal was a very nice touch, just not very practical once you actually have to pull on it to turn the lamp off and on. Overall a very cute lamp, just be careful not to pull on the crystal if you want to keep it looking elegant.
