Trendworx 4078 Automatic Revolving Tie & Belt Rack

There were no reviews for this particular revolving tie rack but having read the reviews for similar products, I decided to take a chance on this one - it looked perfect and was a good price. The Dog's Dad wears a tie to work every day and has a large collection which had previously been stored on two different types of coat hanger type tie racks, neither of which were very satisfactory. I bought this for his birthday and he is really happy with it - it's very easy to control and takes up less space in the wardrobe than the 2 previous tie racks. It's been in use for almost two weeks now with no problems. The details say it fits round clothes rails and we have the thin oval kind but it attached to the non-round rail without a problem. We would definitely recommend this to anyone with a large tie collection!Edit: it is now 3 years later and the tie rack is still working well. Have just put in the 2nd set of new batteries - first time I had forgotten where they went so I dismantled it, which was a complete pain, but you will only ever do that once! Yes, I know I should have looked it up online but I didn't. Anyway, just hold the tie rack and slide the top cover forward and hey presto you are holding the battery compartment in your hand. Easy Peasy. Photo attached this time... showing it fitted on our skinny rails and almost full with a full set of ties.I would still recommend this to anyone looking for some tie organisation!

I bought this as a gift for a friend of mine who works in Sales (i.e., he has more ties than any normal person should own), and ended up doing the installation as well (protip: sales people are incapable of doing anything with their own hands - they'll always delegate to the engineers).Anyway, it can be a bit fiddly to install, as you'll see mentioned in other reviews. I can vouch for its longevity though as my friend has been using this every single day for the last 2 years. The mechanism operates smoothly enough, and this can hold quite a few many ties. The LED light shows you whats up. The plastic feels a bit cheap but you won't really notice once it's installed. Note you'll need to buy the less common C-type batteries separately.

I have been looking for a tie rack like this for some time. The last one we had was from the States (Sharper Image) and it was handy, but required that you screwed it in from the top, a general problem when you have a shelf above your wardrobe rack. We broke our last one during our last house move due to our inabiliy to screw it in properly.I was happy to find this one as a replacement! It holds more then enough ties (my husband has LOADS) and belts in a compact space. Love the rotating feature as well - makes it easy to scroll thru the ties. Its just a very easy way to store ALOT of ties, in a small space, at eye level to the rest of your wardrobe. We cololur coordinated the ties and so makes srolling thru them very easy to find exactly which tie you want.The quality is also very good and screwing this one into the rail is very easy. No fiddling required! I highly recommend this - there really is no better way to store your ties in an orderly and neat fashion. (I have tried lots of methods and storage techniques, this is the best).

Very poor product. The product is so poorly designed it's unbelievable. When the ties go round, the whole thing swings up and down like a see saw as the weight shifts - there is nothing to stop the whole thing from rotating on the pole. It makes no difference how much you tighten it - the mechanism for securing it to the rail is god awful and devoid of any intelligence - there is not even a cheap rubber attachment to grip the metal pole.The plastic construction and electrics are cheap and nasty, yet the price is not cheap at all. The buttons and LED are also bargain basement.The way the ties move around so fast round and round when activated feels super cheap and doesn't make it easy to view or select a tie at all.The belt holders are rubbish, made of the cheapest plastic and feel like they're going to snap if you use them.Despite using the electric buttons on the front about 3 times, the batteries rapidly drained and depleted within a few weeks - it's absolutely crazy - these are very large batteries. It rapidly depletes the batteries even if don't use it at all. I've found other people complaining about the same problem online and this is a clear design fault.Overall, a truly terrible product - not worth 1 star.

Does a perfect job of holding a ton of ties which previously where a nightmare to store in my cupboard.Minus 1 star because the mechanism for latching on to the rail isn't good. If you pass the metallic cupboard rod through the centre, it slips far too easily, even when screwing the bolt incredibly tightly. In the end, I had to use additional attachments it came with, bending them with pliers so that they would dig into the metallic rod in order to secure it well.Note: does not come with batteries!

I ordered this item based on the reviews online. it arrived on time and my husband loves it.It's very easy to install once you figure how. No instruction provided but you can google that online. It was a bit loose once installed so I had to wrap the metal pole with a piece of cloth to make sure it sit stable. Very happy with the outcome.

Purchased for husband to keep ties in one place. This does the job well. No instructions with it but I easily worked it out, fitted it and put all his ties in place for when he got in from work. Nice quiet motor.

A genuinely super product. Ties, as we know, are a pain to look after. They are expensive for what they are and can easily get creased or ruined. I was looking for a tie tack which holds ties in place (most racks allow the ties to fall off leaving an ever growing pile on the floor of your wardrobe). This rack does not allow ties to fall off and being automatic allows the ties to rotate so that they can easily be selected. It can be a little power hungry on the batteries, but they are readily replaced.
